CHS Principal Elliott Lewis and Director of Support Services Ray Bavi shine under the new lights at Cheltenham’s Football Stadium. Join us on Friday, September 11th at 6:00 p.m. to celebrate the arrival of stadium lights and to begin the celebration for the 50th anniversary of the current Cheltenham High School. On this special evening all members of our School District and Township, CHS alumni, friends and families are invited to a Birthday Rally and Official Stadium Lights Ceremony. A parade of School District and Township dignitaries, staff, stadium lights supporters, coaches, representatives of our sports teams, and alumni will march behind the award-winning Panthers Marching Band beginning at 6:00 p.m. At 6:45 p.m., the Marching Band will begin to play on the field. After a brief welcome by District and local officials, the football team will play the first half of their game against Bishop McDevitt. The halftime show for this auspicious occasion will include a ceremony to mark the official turning on of the stadium lights. Admission to the event is free.
